Synth Wave - Volume 1 intends to showcase the rude health of the global synth scene, pulling in artists from countries including Sweden, Argentina and Brazil. Turns out, the many kinds of alt-pop that have synthesisers at their core are producing top-grade material right now: artists like Massive Ego and The Stir Fry Pop Star prove that here. On Electro London.

10/10 Rob Harvey Customer review, 12th July 2016
This album is full of sounds I used to assume was only heard and played in the UK or in a few European countries, but from listening to Synth Wave Vol 1, it is very clear, there is a huge array of artists around the world out there, producing and playing some really awesome synth tunes and this album has a fine selection to wet anyones synth appetite. There are naturally elements of the '80s and '90s sound within, and songs with a real fresh outlook on a certain music, which has so much more to give, clearly. Certainly looking forward to Vol2....
10/10 Lorraine Brown Customer review, 12th May 2016
A superb selection of electronic artists from around the globe. Reminiscent of the pioneering electronica of the 80s, but with their own distinct modern sound, each artist exudes a talented creativity sorely lacking from today's mainstream music industry. All tracks have superb melodies, lyrics & vocals, but the synthesized arrangements give this impressive collection of artists their own inspired style. Each artist is as brilliant as the next, making for an exhilarating ride along the synth wave.
9/10 Rob Dyer Customer review, 27th April 2016
I'm currently reviewing this album for dsoaudio.com. “Synth Wave Volume 1” takes us back to the heydays of the original synthpop/electro scene that exploded in the early 80's. But rather than trading on the nostalgia for that seminal era for electronic music, this release on the rising and impressive Electro London label, is as dynamic and exciting as the new synthwave scene it so expertly captures.
Taking the listener on a global journey (artists come from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Ireland, Sweden, and the UK) through the rich range of styles of modern synth pop & electro, it's a superb listening experience. Impossible to pull out a single track, as there's several that deliver the goods in style, and the entire selection is rock solid.
