This release captures Pylon in their glorious death throes, playing their final show in 1983. Though it was filmed and recorded, the performance was thought lost to the ages… until now. Gravity gives us a single-length preview of the whole recording, with 2 of the tightest tunes. 7” vinyl on Chunklet.

- Gravity by Pylon
8/10 Clinton Staff review, 16 June 2016
Pylon were the greatest band in the world but you knew that already right? They made a kind of jagged but tuneful post-punk with spindly guitars and gravelly vocals that make Kim Gordon sound like Karen Carpenter. Here is a couple of tracks taken from a live recording of a concert from back in 1983 showcasing their tight as a nut sound. The A Side 'Gravity' is typical of their clipped minimalist compositions whilst 'Weather Radio' on the flip is one of their great instrumentals that were the 100% influence for marvellous Athens GA pals Love Tractor.
