Upon the parting of Uncle Tupelo, Jeff Tweedy went Wilco while frontman Jay Farrar kickstarted Son Volt. His alt-country team released debut album 'Trace' in '95, an homage to honky tonk that stayed true to Farrar's musical obsessions. A live album came with the deluxe edition of 'Trace', and now it stretches out for its own LP release.
