This is Erasure’s fifth record, a platinum synth-pop super-hit upon release in 1991. But the vinyl edition of Chorus has been out-of-print for most of the intervening years, having never been reissued… Until now! Mute have pressed up a new brace of 180g vinyl copies, presented with the original artwork and packaging.

8/10 Customer review, 5th March 2018

The 2nd of the "pure" Erasure albums in terms of its synthetic soundscape, this record transcended the boundaries of standard synth-pop and made us realise electronic music could be gorgeous and emotionally moving. 'Always' is arguably Erasure's finest song, and 'Run to the Sun' echoes the old Bonnie Tyler song 'Holding Out For a Hero'; both ask the same question, but from opposite ends of the sexual spectrum. Other standout cuts include 'So the Story Goes' and 'Take Me Back'.
