Tujurikkuja is the pairing of Joshua Kit Clayton and Chris Dixon (variously involved in such eclectically-named projects as Death Sentence Panda!, ~scape and Orthlorng Musork), and Omertá is a nice meaty chunk of analogue synth improvisation, backed with a dancefloor version from Sandwell District’s Rrose. White vinyl on Eaux.

I think I may have reviewed every Rrose record ever? Ah well… Here’s another one the artists Eaux label. On this occasion a split with Tujurikkuja -- who you’d be forgiven for thinking was some Finnish avant-folk artist on Fonal. Turns out it’s Kit Clayton and pal Chris Dixon twiddling some synths (recorded live) and making a right squeaky, gristly, groaning analogue racket that erupts into bowel emptying, splintered power electronics/ noise.
Thankfully for the non-noise freaks that prefer the “techno” side of Eaux and get upset if they don’t get a four to the floor kick drum to bang their skulls to - our man/ woman Rrose has a remix lurking on the records undercarriage. It begins in trippy minimal fashion, building with soaring synth until we’re vaporised into particles and sucked into a wormhole, hanging out with space detritus. A right mindwarper on the danceloor I’m sure. Proper weird/ zoned sci-fi techno. Mmmmmkay.
