After a slew of 12”s for Mord, South London Analogue Material, Perc Trax, Mindcut, THEM etc. Kieran Whitefield unleashes an absolutely crushing, deadly debut album of ‘floor shredding, perfectly tooled, razor sharp, chromium tough, uncompromising industrial techno.
I’m not gonna lie, there’s tons of dreary unimaginative monochrome industrial techno kicking about at the minute -- but this man’s productions are a cut above the rest. This is loaded with ferocious DJ ammo if you wanna cherry pick the odd weapon for maximum dancefloor destruction (e.g the title track is on point party fuel), but also sits nice as an album, so playing the CD (in metal tin of course) in it’s entirety is also recommended.
‘Stowaway’ is bursting with rusting shrapnel, skull crushing kicks, bursts of noise, caustic acid, menacing soundscapes all with driving momentum and dynamic arrangements. Pure, powerful adrenalin for the mind and body. If you’re into Ancient Methods, Adam X, Perc etc. do yourself a favour. Proper.
