The Danish band who straddle arena rock and indie pop once released this really great record called 'And The Glass Handed Kites', and it was dreamy: it veered towards the prog side of alt rock but swung mostly with its heart, and now it's being reissued for RSD to remind us of the past power of Mew.
8/10 Jack Customer review, 14th April 2016
Although their music is difficult to categorise, I can assure you that their sound is strangely uplifting and stealthily addictive. Well, some may call this art-rock, others may call it alt-prog, and still others may just call it alternative rock. Whatever you call it, it is definitely both fresh and refreshing. I think all the songs here are interesting in themselves--the chords surprise and are more thought out then in most guitar bands. But it is that shimmering Bloody Valentine glow worm that threads this album together--and makes it work.
