John Congleton has made a name for himself producing for eccentric indie artists such as St. Vincent and David Byrne. With Until The Horror Goes he and his band The Nighty Nite show that they can be just as playful and witty. Congleton’s strained and deadpan vocals hold together a dense pop rock collage with everything from theremin to rap breakdowns.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 1st March 2018
Debut release from this band led by well-known Texas producer for bands such as St. Vincent, Swans, Mountain Goats, Baroness, The Walkmen, Explosions In The Sky and others. Congleton was also in the band the Paper Chase. Musically, this is eclectic & quirky indie rock that mixes a myriad of instruments into a cohesively chaotic swirl of melody and madness powered by Congleton’s sense of structure, peculiar lyric content and somewhat unimpressive vocals. Give it time to grow on you, and this could very well become a favourite.
