Dense, smoggy electro from Milo Smee’s Bintus pseudonym. Reincarnated Savage is a particularly appropriate title for this artist’s primitive electronics; drum machines get clobbered into strange shapes and distorted synths are hammered to breaking point. On vinyl 12” from Bedouin Records.

"Reincarnated Savage" on the 'A' side really IS a savage beast. It's an elechno monster that will have you swearing it's Arthur Baker and Afrika Bambaataa jamming in a Brooklyn basement at their body-popping best. Breakin' in space. I'm popping my shoulders along to the beat in my office chair. A thumbs-up.
On the flip, "7th Nov Jam" is a panel-beating punisher; metallic distortion and tie-fighter bloops and bleeps battle it out to get you jamming to the Dark side. Tasty, Artoo. When you've finished doing the 'robot', slip into closing track "Mandate Atmos"; it's an altogether more relaxing prospect. Future electro of the slightly more chilled variety to soothe you - spacey synth washes and warm bass pulses are the method here. A nice, tidy all-rounder then.
