The.. COMET! is.. COMING! But be not afraid, for this is no harbinger of the apocalypse (well, it might be actually) but it is also, significantly, a time for wild gyrating and head shaking!

Danalogue and Betamax (Soccer 96) are here with the beats! Shabaka Hutchings has well and truly brought his funky rhythmic sax to the proceedings! It all adds up to one swell cosmic party on an intergalactic scale. Thrill to the colours of their Space Carnival! Don your space pants, strap yourselves in and hold onto your seats as our astral heroes guide us through -- gasp! -- asteroid belts! Swoon as King Shabaka weaves and glides like a ninja to execute the most audacious of slam dunks in a black hole! Analogue synths bring the psychedelic textures and the sub-bass and sax squawk are too tempting for our feet and bottoms not to follow.

These grooves are tighter than Prince's sparkly sex trews. Our helmsmen are channeling the spirit of Osiris and have taken us so far out into the densest regions of space that it's way too late to go back now. We are but mere dazed mortals following willingly in their wake. May the funk be with you.
