Originally released in 1971, Träd, Gräs och Stenar recorded Djungelns Lag (translated as 'The Law Of The Jungle') live across various gigs in Norway and Sweden in that same year. The sound quality may not be crystal clear, but ultimately it adds to what is raw soaring psych rock that is bursting with emotional intensity. The opener "Sanningens Silverflod" is quite pleasantly dark and could be easily comparable to Hawkwind, "Tidigt Om Morgonen" is a thirteen-minute acoustic jam that also showcases the band's depth. But it's tracks such as "Drammen Export / Sommarlåten" and the half-hour long "Amithaba / In Kommer Gösta" that truly captures their live trance rock sound in a way their studio recordings didn't. Djungelns Lag is ideal for those that like their musical psychedelia as archaic and as hypnotic as possible.
