Daniel Pemberton composed his original soundtrack to Danny Boyle’s new Steve Jobs film by, in effect, producing 3 entirely different micro-scores, one for each act of the film. This Music On Vinyl release also includes tracks featured in the film by The Libertines and Bob Dylan. 180g white vinyl double LP, limited to 750 copies.

Steve Jobs - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack starts with one of the few true orchestral pieces in here, the threatening "The Musicians Play Their Instruments?". After that, many of the Pemberton compositions are electronic and mature, which makes sense, given the subject matter of the movie. Bottom line; this is a fine soundtrack, with Pemberton showing us that he's got all the skills to become a big time player in the Hollywood music scene. Both the soundtrack and the movie are highly recommended.
