We Are Prostitutes by The Pop Group was originally released in 1979, a time of political discontentment. This 7” is a timely reissue of a track which Nick Cave lustily referred to as “violent, paranoid music for a violent, paranoid time”. The single is backed with Amnesty International Report which bemoaned the treatment of Irish prisoners by the British army, with lyrics lifted directly from the Amnesty International report of the time. Limited 1000 copies on coloured vinyl.
