This mysterious white label style 12” has got to be the handy work of Perc and Truss. Although that is purely speculation on my behalf.

‘T99’ is an edit/ remix of T99’s 1991 Belgian rave/ hardcore/ techno classic ‘Anasthasia’. Looping and chopping up the synths and breakbeats and adding a hard as Biffa Bacon kick drum into the mix for maximum dancefloor annihilation. A most touching tribute to the source material.

Over on the flipside is ‘Klang’ which tackles 1992 eternal German techno classic; -- 3 Phase feat. Dr. Motte’s ‘Der Klang Der Familie‘ which originally came out on Tresor, then Novamute, Transmat, Low Spirit blah blah blah and was affectionately referred to by myself and fellow party crew as ‘The Hacksaw Tune’. As soon as the opening synth came in we used to pretend we were sawing through metal on the dancefloor like a set of morons. It sounds ridiculous but I can assure you -  there were far more disturbing sites to be seen on the dancefloor back then. That particular synthi remains intact as does the 303 bassline then it kicks in, pounding aggressively into hyperspace.

Two oldskool classics given solid updates for the modern age.
