Cage The Elephant return with their 4th full-length album, another set of sneery rock tracks. Tell Me I’m Pretty is a little bit blues-rock, a little bit garage-rock, and some of those guitar parts even hint at 70’s-esque classic-rock. And what a strong mixture all those different rocks make here. Out on Columbia.

8/10 James Skinner Customer review, 15th December 2015
An interesting new offering from previously self conscious 'naughty boys' Cage The Elephant. Following on from Melophobia, where they managed to distance themselves from some of their more obvious influences, Tell Me I'm Pretty goes even further to create a more coherent sound. Producer Dan Auerbach lends some bluesy swagger to the production, which is particularly obvious on 'Too Late to say Goodbye'. 'Trouble' has a New Pornographers tempered by Beach House vibe, but with the crucial stamp of Cage The Elephant's new sound. This is a good new direction, and one that more consistently hits the mark. Definitely worth a listen.
