Demonico is the debut EP from Kamixlo, released on CODES by Pan and Visionist. Demonico is a key member of the Endless party which goes around South London and the tunes here contain the kind of dark drone, club Latin and chunky percussion the party’s known for. “Paleta” has become, and will gain further praise as, an anthemic club tune, worthy of any DJ’s decks.

The second release on Visionist’s rebooted label comes from Kamixlo who serves up four cuts of heavy, darkside industrialized reggaeton complete with a remix from the label bossman himself.
‘Outra Noche’ sets the mood with ghoulish pitched down vocals and demonic drones that howl like the icy winds of hell then gets booming with crisp, crunchy percussion. Then things take off with the brutal machine gun drums of ‘Paleta’ sounding like a powerful dancehall hybrid with The Bug and a young Dizzee Rascal circa 'I Love You' at the controls.
‘Splxcity’ continues with rattling snares and crushing, militant, distorted kicks, the likes of which Ancient Methods would be probably be proud of. Imagine a skeleton army playing electrified samba, beating drums wired directly into a nuclear reactor.
‘Lariat’ keeps the energy levels and momentum going with a short breakdown of glacial synth before Visionist’s remix splices up the vocals and reduces the heaviness a little in favour of itchy strings and a more complex, abstract electronic style cut and paste arrangement - not dissimilar to something from his recent 'safe' long-player on PAN.
