Pylon is the latest album from proto-industrial trailblazers Killing Joke. Intermittently since ‘78 Killing Joke have been spitting out scorching metal that has influenced everyone from Metallica to My Bloody Valentine. It's as doomy, gloomy and fill the roomy as ever. Out on CD, deluxe 2CD and 180g vinyl gatefold 2LP on Spinefarm.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 14th April 2016

These guys are definitely not mellowing with age, this album is a non stop assault of guitar, pounding drums, ominous keyboards and Jaz Coleman's dark lyrics. Jaz definitely sounds better on this album, his voice was really showing signs of heavy wear on the previous few releases. Probably good wizardry with the knobs unless he kicked his heavy smoking habit and took up some miraculous plant based diet. Unfortunately one of the drawbacks of this album is that at 15 songs it begins to sound the same.
