Frank Zappa brought his most famous band, The Mothers Of Invention, to a close with 1975’s One Size Fits All, a gnarly example of his super-complex weird-rock. One of the techniques used here is something called “xenochrony”, so you know this will be quite a ride. The LP is reissued by Universal.

- One Size Fits All by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention
8/10 Jack 11th November 2015
Frank Zappa's albums are so diverse and voluminous that it appeals to different fans in different ways; so much so that I've come to realise that for the most part there are really no "best" Zappa albums as most of them are as great depending upon the listener. Some people have trouble with Zappa's lyrics or getting into his style because it is complicated, he melds so many different musical styles into his songs it's amazing, this album is a work of genius by him and the people that played on it.
