Talk About Terry is the debut release from Terry, a band led by Al Monte of Total Control. Three short sharp tracks of indie pop, sung by the collective vocals of the whole band, as if they are trying to mould themselves together into an actual single entity, named Terry. Charming pencil sleeve art that captures the tone quite well. White 7” on Upset The Rhythm.

Who is the best Terry? Wogan? Nutkins? Well here's another one to add to the list. These are people out of Total Control making ridiculously catchy indie-pop that sounds very much like the early Go-Betweens. On opener 'Talk About Terry' guitars re-define the word 'spindly' as the entire band sing over the top. This is a good choice, they are all in it together. Very enjoyable indeed.
Overleaf there are two further tracks for your hard earned dollar. 'In The Bin' is slower with no drums and quite sad. They sound Australian. The final '70 and Dead' (a description of me in 27 years) is kind of more angular and lop sided with a wandering fuzzy guitar. Again they all sing together. They sound like good pals.
