Hot on the heels of Metamatic’s reissues of some of John Foxx’s work with Harold Budd, they now present his brand new album, London Overgrown. The concept underpinning it all is indeed a dream of allowing plant life to stretch out its tendrils through the city, and these ideas are represented with Foxx’s classic ambient washes.

- London Overgrown by John Foxx

I have been trying to catch up with the latest releases from John Foxx that I haven't picked up since the release of The Golden Section. You know I expected more than what I got. The only tracks that grab my attention fully are "Xray Vision" and "Use My Voice," otherwise it was rather uneventful to my ears.
It does come with a cool interview with Mr Foxx. I love to listen to him explain in very sober terms about his influence and execution of his art. Otherwise one can get lost in his imagery lyrics and way-out there definitions of the world around him.
