Lee Brown Coye died in 1981 at the age of 74. He was regarded as one of the finest horror/weird fiction artists - a master of creating nightmarish disquiet. His illustrations could be seen in the Weird Tales magazine. He also wrote some little known stories that were collected under the name Chips and Shavings. The stories are brought to life on Where is Abby? & Other Tales and are read by his son, Robert Coye. Lee Brown Coye was an inspiration for film director Guillermo Del Toro and writer Stephen King among others. For fans of the writing of H.P. Lovecraft.
