Little Howlin’ Wolf (not to be confused with non-size-specific bluesman Howlin Wolf) is an outsider Chicago street musician who used to chuck out intense avant-blues jams filtered through various musical traditions. The Guardian was first released in 1982, and makes for a pretty wild and unique listen. The album has been reissued onto vinyl by Family Vineyard.
