Well I listened to this earlier and became confused that it's the soundtrack to a film that hasn't been released yet! Well I listened to this earlier and became confused that it's the soundtrack to a film that hasn't been released yet!

It sounds so classic and Carpenteresque -- so brooding and foreboding -- that I was sure it was another Death Waltz release, a reissue of a soundtrack from the '70s or '80s! Not to be confused with Chekhov's Three Sisters, this one is set in Dublin and has kitchen knives and leather glove action; there's also a picture of some handcuffs on the inside cover.

So does listening to a soundtrack before you see the film spoil the movie? (another watercooler discussion to partner the "why don't you just get the DVD and adjust the contrast on the telly?" debate). Let's say I'm intriged to see this one! The bonus track remixes by Umberto, Night Sequels et al will have your toes tapping too.

Repeated Viewing have got the genre spot on.
