Every single thing about this release is minimal: Joe’s boldly basic moniker, the sleeveless nature of the white label record, even the fact that only one side of the record has any music on it. You would think that all the thought and design has gone into the track itself until you hear it and realise that it is a loop of sample of a Bobby McFerrin track probably knocked up in 5 minutes. Music is so over. Thinkin About is released on Four Tet’s Text label.
