Some would say that the soundtracks to the 1970s Italian horror films in the giallo genre are more often than not better than the films themselves. Well, I haven’t seen I due volti della paura but it must be a pretty good film to compete with Franco Micalizzi’s killer soundtrack which melds various genres together; from sleazy thriller music to tension filled harpsichord pieces and Morricone style lounge with the distinctive voice of Edda dell’Orso, it spans a wide array of genres with equal success.
