Good old Roots Manuva brings it back to Big Dada with this 12” single. The two tracks, Facety 2:11 and Like A Drum, have been produced by Four Tet and Machinedrum respectively, so fresh swinging percussion and lively sampling is guaranteed. Mix in Roots’ compellingly relaxed flow and we have a tasty pair of tracks.

7/10 Clinton Staff review, 01 May 2015
I got myself in such a terrible muddle with this. ‘THEY’VE GOT THE TRACKS IN THE WRONG ORDER!!’ I shrieked little realising that the record had already been turned over.
To be fair I was still flailing around recovering from having listened to the Four Tet side of this tasty looking collaborative EP. In probably one of the most annoying pieces of music ever committed to tape, its kind of a posh boy take on the DJ Rashad/footwork sound with mega irritating sample repeating ad nauseum and time-stretched down. It may sound good on a phone at the back of the bus. Much, much better is the Machinedrum side. Moustache aside, Machinedrum can do no wrong for me and the jazzy cut up track meshes perfectly with Roots intelligent delivery. Very good
So one good and one terrible and you get instrumental versions as well which on side A will drive you to utter, utter distraction
