9/10 Andy Customer review, 19th December 2015

The second installment of the aptly titled Tropical Disco Hustle. Which does exactly what it says, this is music guaranteed to make you hustle, shuffle and boogie around your front room, pina colada in hand dreaming of warmer climes. As with part 1 this is a compilation of records dug up from the Caribbean, there is funk, soul, disco all with that extra touch of tropical sunshine - even touches of calypso.

13 tracks in all, from the feel good grrove of Tru Tones 'Dancing' to the more soulful cocktail boogie of Wild Fire's 'Try Making Love'. The percussion led Hamilton Brothers 'Music Makes The World Go Round' with its squelcy synths is a real highlight too.

Disco Don Al Kent alao provides a heavy remix of the Wild Fire tune, with Waxist Selecta alao re-editting a couple of tracks to give them a slightly more contemporary feel for modern dancefloors.

If you're feeling blue and sick of the grey clouds you could do far worse than sticking this on. Indoor sunshine and a funky groove bound to put a smile on your face. Quality stuff from beginning to end.
