Collaborative 12” by the fresh new duo of Mannerfelt (Roll The Dice, The Subliminal Kid) and Simon Haydo. Firmly disorientating grayscale electronics that thud their way around your room and your subconscious alike. Heavily atmospheric Scandinavian times. Radio Mohave is released by the Avian label.

- Radio Mohave by Mannerfelt / Haydo
8/10 Laurie Staff review, 13 May 2015
Dark ‘n’ dirty technopushers Avian have invited Peder Mannerfelt and Simon Haydo to make some grumbly dance stuff for you. And they have.
On Radio Mohave, you will encounter 5 pieces of relatively heavy, mostly midpaced thud, layering up high voltage synths and doorknock percussion to disorientate into the late hours. Joining the techno dots isn’t my forte, but I can tell you that it’s much better than Skarn’s recent release on Avian, because that’s boring as shit. This however lets throbbing one-note basses and digital bird calls mingle with polyrhythmic insistency right up until the last track, where things get a little more Dark Sky, one of their more downtempo skulkers. An obnoxious squelch ends the EP on a high note, marking some not-half-decent dark dance.
