Under the Chemotex moniker, New Yorker, Marcos Cabral made some massive club sounds that recalled the days of Rush and Cajual. Under his given name, Cabral released the album L.I.E.S. in 2013 which went largely unnoticed but set him on a new roots-driven course. After and EP and some tracks appearing on compilations, Dancing On Manhattan which appeared on Ben UFO’s Essential Mix being the most notable, he has now recorded an full-length LP, Buried Alive Twice. It is an understated trip that will land you in a crazy cartoon world pulling and pushing you every which way, bringing you down and building you up. There’s a lot going on in these here grooves.
