The charmingly titled ’The Pretty Toney Album’ is American hip hop/rap artist and former Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah’s fourth studio album. Originally released in 2004 in the wake of the shortcomings of many other Wu-Tang Clan members solo projects, Ghostface Killah has successfully created his own unique identity that has a strong, independent, distinctive sound that stems from the strength of his varied vocal styles and technical production skills.

You could give Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah a phone book to rap and he'd make that shit entertaining as hell. So, if you give him an album full of funky, soulful instrumentals and tell him to just let loose (largely free of the controlling influence of RZA) he'll spin you some gold. The Pretty Toney Album isn't Ghostface's best album by any stretch - in fact it's mainly notable for being the only album in his catalogue on which he drops the 'Killah' from his name - but the production (from the likes of No I.D. and, yes, RZA) is bright and energetic and Ghostface's raps are never anything but.
