Two covers here, actually: while this 7" project offers one White Stripes single plus one White Stripes cover, "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" was originally written by Burt Bacharach and familiarized by a soft, serenely romantic adaptation by way of Dusty Springfield. There's the Stripes' pretty raw, half-punx version on here, plus "Who's To Say", originally Blanche's.

Another one of my favourite White Stripe tracks. I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself has a great hook. Jack does a great Beatlesque cover of this song that starts off with a slow calm tempo then turns into a rocker. Great vocal performance by Jack on this song and one of the best of the album. The mellow parts are very good, and the ending is very fitting. Only Jack and Meg can turn a Dusty Springfield song into this. Great b-side in Dan Miller's country release "Who's to Say". Good package.
