After years of putting it off and asking each member if it's gonna happen -- and RZA saying it'd only happen if he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted and take the project wherever he could -- the Wu-Tang announced not one album, but two (though you'd have to be earning a lot more right now to own the second). A Better Tomorrow sees their reunion and the vinyl offers five instrumentals on top of it all -- though you're probably mostly excited to hear these dudes rap together again, I presume?
8/10 Jack Customer review, 4th July 2015
The more things change the more they stay the same, and on 'A Better Tomorrow' the group releases their most ambitious record since 'Forever'. If it is indeed their final album, than it is fitting that the production style comes full circle from 1993. The opening track is co-produced by both RZA and Rick Rubin and switches up no less than three times. With ODB vocal tracks scratched in, you immediately know this album is going to be a little more special. A Better Tomorrow is another brilliant work and example of Hip Hop as an art form.
