Here's some tasty delights from Bernard Hermann. The Wrong Man is the score of Herman's from the 1965 Hitchcock film. For this feature Hermann created a melancholic and subtle score which is full of soft orchestral textures, sparse instrumentation and enough suspense to keep you on the edge. Out on vinyl LP from Doxy & limited to 500 for this first pressing.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 26th July 2017
This score for this generally neglected Alfred Hitchcock venture into neorealism, the underrated "The Wrong Man" is no "Vertigo", "North by Northwest" or "Psycho" as we tend to associate when we link these two geniuses together. But appropriately for the somber material at hand, this is a moody, minimalist score which is extremely effective and gives a haunting aura to the film's grim story line. Some may find it a little monotonous and repetitive but if you appreciate the greatness of Bernard Herrmann, you'll end up being lured in.
