I need a cheer up and this should do it. You have to hand it to Yoko Ono -- she’s 82 and she’s still doing stuff. Here, she’s written two songs and sung one of them with Antony (of the Johnsons). It's all so slightly, artily comedic that its hard not to grin, but even the hardest heart would melt at the simplicity of the opening track ‘I Love You Earth’. Antony’s voice is quite the thing whether you like it or not, but when Yoko’s voice comes in halting with the words ‘I love you earth, you are beautiful’... well, I think I’ve got something in my eye. Then they duet. Aaargh....
On the second track Antony performs the Ono-penned ‘I’m Going Away Smiling’ alone. It's quite the tear jerker. I hope that Ono has plenty of years left ahead of her but when she does shuffle off this mortal coil, this will be the perfect epitaph. Play it at the funeral and there won’t be a dry eye in the house.

Yet another Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious extremely limited edition from our best cheerful friend Tony !!!
Antony Hegarty coupled with someone who could be his grandma, no other than miss Yoko Ono. This really scared me off at first as I could never ever stand the voice of Yoko. When I used to listen to 'Double Fantasy', I was always skipping the Yoko songs.
I must admit that I really like those 2 songs on this 10" vinyl single. I may be a little bit biaised by the fact that I'm a big Antony & the Johnsons fan but what could have turned into a little castatrophe turns out to be quite captivating. It's actually so short that you want to put the needle back on and on and on... until the vinyl wears out. Oh no! It was really a limited release; I should have bought a few copies.
