Man It Feels Like Space Again by Pond

Man It Feels Like Space Again is a futuristic sliver of psychedelic pop from the crazy men/children of Australian band Pond. It continues on the same road laid down by previous album Hobo Rocket by delivering yet more hyperactive rock/pop tunes lathered in strange psych effects with obscure titles such as “Zond”. It’s bound to be another belter.

If you haven't heard of Pond they are one of the best guitar based psych rock bands going.

However when I heard that their new record was going to be mostly done on synths and keyboards. I didn't know what to expect however what came was better than what I imagined. It was (amazing!)

My highlights from the record include the psychedelic pop of "Elvis' Flaming Star".

And the silky smooth sounding "Sitting Up On Our Crane".

Overall I think this is their best release and a great alternative for someone who like guitar based psychedelic rock but fancies something a bit different.
