The Primitives and their bucketful of fuzz went less rejoiced than your average Jesus and Mary Chain record, but their early works betray a great sensibility for the distorting and occasionally playing of guitars. Galore was their final record for big corporate dudes RCA, and while it was originally released in 1991, it still exists now. As a reissue.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 11th December 2016The reissue is definitely one for the fans but I think anyone who enjoyed jangling guitar pop/rock from the late 1980's and early 1990's will enjoy this release as well. The Primitives crafted tight and catchy pop songs but with a certain edge to them. This was the last release by them before their initial split and it should have been a hit for them. I think it got lost in the myriad of grunge bands who became popular at that time. Well worth exploring. The second bonus disc was a wonderful addition.
