The Living Eyes are an indie/punk 4 piece from Geelong, Australia. Their music is influenced by the likes of fellow Antipodean bands such as Hoodoo Gurus, The Saints, The Easybeats and The Hard Ons. Living Large is their second album and will please anyone who likes to oscillate wildly.
Living Large is available on vinyl LP and CD.

Crumbs - we’ve sold a right lot of these. The Living Eyes are a bratty four piece punk outfit from Australia who rejoice in having some Ausmuteants and Wet Blankets amongst their number. Their music is propulsive and snotty hook filled punk, sloopy and tuneful with buzzsaw guitars and bratt-ish vocals. Although they cite fellow Aussies The Saints and the Hoodoo Guru’s amongst their influences I’m also hearing the drunken melodicism of early Replacements especially when they calm things down on the tuneful ‘Dry Spell’. This garage racket may have roots in the sunshine of Sydney but this will appeal to fans of Jay Retard, Ty Segall and Brit thrashers going as far back as The Prisoners, Billy Childish and early Kinks.
