Some eerie and emotive punkish sounds from Dracula Legs. Sand to the Beach consists of two mid tempo rock n rollers from the hairy fellas. Loads of riffs, an ardent wailing vocals and driving drums hold these two together. Imagine if Morrissey was fronting The 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster. Out on 7" vinyl from Two Piece Records.

“Morrissey has let himself go” says Kim and yes the vocals on this limited 7” have a croon-some quality that reminds us of the blame deflecting misery merchant. The music however has the taut wired edge of Interpol. Together its an odd brew - perfectly serviceable but somehow it seems that a vocalist from a completely different band has been drafted in though overall it is Smithsy and that’s a good thing in my book. The B side is completely different - a dusty rockabilly romp -that slows for a more heartfelt twang-some chorus. Quite cow-punk actually. A strange brew but I can't say I haven't enjoyed it.
