Cold winds are blowing through Sweden. Days are long. Nights, even longer. The wealthy are growing wealthier, while the poor are growing in numbers, if nothing else.   A true throwback to social realism, Sverige's debut single, Anna, is a meditation on today's political climate, told through stories of being without anything or anyone, of the increasing gap between the haves and the have nots, and of broken promises. Masked as an outstanding piece of pop music, this colorful portrait, painted with thick strokes, mixed with thin, precise lines, blending together as a landscape, showing us yesterday’s future in a dream of a better tomorrow.   7" vinyl limited to 250 hand printed and hand numbered copies.

8/10 Clinton Staff review, 11 February 2015

Last Friday as the day dawdled to a drab close, this wonderful disc appeared on the stereo as if blasted in from some far off galaxy. What we have is a lovely little fuzzy electronic pop song that kinda sounds like it was recorded sometime in the early ‘80’s and has been wallowing in dust ever since. It also sounds like the sort of oddball pop those Welsh fellows Gruff Rhys and Euros Childs might come up with. It’s utterly lovely.

Not wanting to spoil it for anyone but there is a flute running through it, however if I can handle it then you can. Be strong. Overleaf is another melodic piece with slide guitars and a singalong chorus. As its being sung in foreign I have no idea what to sing along to but if possible I’d really like to join in. Really nice stuff.
