Despite sharing imperative band names, this band actually have nothing to do with Ought. Should make sweet-voiced downtempo, as if taking Galaxie 500's dream pop and cutting all of Dean Wareham's melodrama from proceedings. Twinkling guitars shimemr through 'The Great Pretend', as do sustained, krautish keys and gorgeous layered vocals. Despite its complex influences and compositional tactics, this is a quiet pop record with open wounds.
