An innovative second release from London whizzkid Lukid who presents with some lo-fi fuzzy electronics with scattershot scratchy synths descending over muted grainy beats. The effect remains danceable, a thumping two step bass drum keeps your feet moving no matter how odd ball the structures.  'La Cucaracha' is eerie ethnicy sounding breathy samples, he veers all over the place stylistically but always with a texture that leads you to think the whole thing has been rolled on and off tape. Closer 'Born in Bosnia' is a murky highlight.

An innovative new release from this London whizzkid Lukid who presents with some lo-fi fuzzy electronics with scattershot scratchy synths descending over muted grainy beats. The effect remains danceable, a thumping two step bass drum keeps your feet moving no matter how odd ball the structures.  And this is a varied record  - 'La Cucaracha' for example is eerie ethnicy sounding breathy samples, he veers all over the place stylistically but always with a texture that leads you to think the whole thing has been rolled on and off tape. Closer 'Born in Bosnia' is a murky highlight, a slow moving monolith of a thing that twists this way and that with some nice melodic progressions.
