Don’t Say That by Superfood

This Birmingham four piece are a joyous fun-packed group squarely aimed at the late teens/early 20's market with infectious danceable pop with noticeable hip hop and Beck influences. They have nothing important to say, their songs are generally about food and fun but I'm sure would sound life affirming down the indie disco. This is their first full length following a popular 10" 'MAM'.

6/10 Alex 3rd November 2014

The main influence on this album is 90's brit-pop for sure. I have a bit of a problem with the two interludes that are placed in very odd positions on the album. The album has some nice guitar riffs and drum patterns but I cannot help that feel that this album will be forgotten about and not remembered at the end of the year. I would recommend this for fans of bands like Peace, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Stone Roses.
