Just to prove that preposterously small pressings are not a new thing, this LP by 60's Iowa garage funsters was issued in a run of just 100 copies back in 1967. Lucky old you if you have one. From the sounds of the track I'm listening to its the kind of stuff ripe for a re-issue. Supremely melodic 60's garage folk rock it sits somewhere between the tunefulness of early Beatles and the gently off kilter garage of early Love with soaring Zombies styled melodies attached. This re-issue has been licensed by the group who will get royalties for the sales of these albums so many years after their hard work. A nice story but also a nice album on which you also get their non album 45's and sleeve notes from historian Jeremy Cargill.
