Wraith Vs Wrath is a collaboration between Home Normal boss Ian Hawgood and Ben Jones of Jazzfinger and Mechanical Children amonst others. With just two tracks on here, clocking in at just under half an hour, it's the usual Hawgood soundscape. This time it rumbles like thunder in an almost terrifying way, almost giving the feel of some kind of god-like creature slowly breaking through reality to crush everything in its path. Hawgood has a way of creating these near apocalyptic sounds that go beyond the average ambient soundscape.

This is really deep stuff that can start from almost silence to a crumbling industrial growl of beautiful doom. While 'Kex' is of a thunderous wave of horror the second of the two tracks, 'Lux', has a more choral effect. Still with the same roar of slowly creeping majesty but with a more cathedralesque angelic quality, like the heavens opening to reveal the entire universe in all its sheer glory. This kind of music certainly is an acquired taste but once you open yourself up to its charm, it can take you to places that others could never dare to tread.
