Always enjoy these Decadubs 12” as they usually showcase the chill as opposed to the studiously paranoid aspects of the Hyperdub personality with volume three being the highlight of the series so far.

The big highlight for me is a version of Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland’s (a.k.a Hype Williams) ‘Signal 2012’ originally taken from their outstanding ‘London 2012’ EP that still hasn’t seen the light of day officially...Hyperdub...you know what to do. They were the truly great contemporary artists of our time and it breaks my heart they’ve called it a day.

Dam_Funk turns up to throw down party vocals on Ikonika’s ‘I Know (That You Are The 1)’ only enhancing the Miami flavour and pure positivity of the track. Can’t go wrong with Dam_ either...love that guy.

Morgan Zarate impresses with an Eska/Ghostface Killah collaboration that makes me wanna ditch the job immediately and get home to my MPC. Super soulful and dreamy as anything.

The rest are pretty darn sweet too. Inga Copeland croons her way through Kode 9’s ‘Lies, Lies’. A DVA/Zaki Ibrahim collab opens proceedings in outrageous style and Cooley finishes up and winds us down with a crisp little R&B outing true to current form. You’d be foolish to pass up these sweet summer jamz.
