Very pleased to see that these Welsh surfy grungers have their own dancer. More bands should have a dancer. Does anyone remember the Keatons with the unforgettable Mo? Brilliant. Very pleased to see that these Welsh surfy grungers have their own dancer. More bands should have a dancer. Does anyone remember the Keatons with the unforgettable Mo? Brilliant.

Anyway I’m sure like the Keatons these lot are a blast live. They do a dark grungy, twangy piece of grimy rock that you wouldn’t want to bump into in the alleyway on a dark night. Keening male & female vocals shout over a metronomic slice of filth. On the flip there’s another raucous slice of rock with a 50’s style swagger. The chorus states "if you could please get down on your knees". Which reminds me of the amount of songs of late that have the immortal lines "I’m down on my knees and beggin’ you please" (Arcade Fire & Kelis I’m looking at you). We had an office discussion the other day trying to come up with orginal alternatives. “I’m down on my haunches and begging you to be raunchy” for example.
