Just to confuse matters further, I mistook a post-it on the front saying Dave Saved for a note indicating that it was saved for a customer called Dave. Entirely possible since there is a customer called Dave who buys this sort of stuff. This sort of stuff seems to be an odd but somehow soothing brand of dub techno. The record is sealed so I’m working off some creaking soundclips. The opening track is a highly evocative slab of Gas(sy) ambience with some super deep bass thuds. Next track is similarly swoonsome, this time warm synths over a galluping beat. Further tracks reveal some more cut-up type stuff, generally in the dark underwater techno territory with the only piece on unpalatability coming with the oddly time stretched hi-pitched vocals. pretty nice & limited to 250 so be quack (ha!).
