5/10 Clinton Staff review, 02 July 2014

With a name scanning perfectly with Echo and the Bunnymen, Catfish and the Bottlemen have had the honour of winning Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World accolade with this standard piece of indie rock. Generally in the post Libertines strummy guitar bracket it has a shouted chorus which reminds me of some Sterephonics tune or other that I'd rather forget. Did you know the singer of the Stereophonics is so small that he had to used a children's guitar on top of the pops as an adult version was too big?

Anyway this is plodding on regardless with shouty bits and less shouty bits.
