It’s a winning formula, and I’m very much enjoying sinking into their easy-going and likeable sound. Even on first listen it has the feel of a well-worn pair of slippers, like a dusty old cassette full of long-forgotten gems, all shuffly and casual and nonchalant on the surface but on closer inspection they’re quite tightly written and fully-formed indie pop songs shuffling around in these sun-bleached spectral clothes. Really nice.
