Kikagaku Moyo improvise like they're falling through a black hole and can jam forever, and so Forest of Lost Children is just a snippet of their work together, a record that explores their meandering psych and folk workouts and picks out the best bits. This record buoys an Eastern influence and favours a frenetic clash of sounds over particular arrangements. They still sound tight, though.

9/10 Herman Customer review, 18th March 2017

This record once again proves how Kikagaku Moyo are one of the most exciting and important psych bands right now. This record is a masterpiece of beautiful sprawling psych rock. Track like 'smoke and mirrors' also show the incredible guitar skills the group have. The record also has a very hypnotic and relaxing feeling running throughout which makes it a pleasure to listen to from start to finish. One feature that may separate the album from its neo-psych peers is its beautiful haunting sitar work.

Overall a great album from one of modern psychedelicas most important bands.
